Ross King

Ross has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate finance, particularly in mergers and acquisitions and equity funding.

He spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs working in the New York, London, Melbourne and Sydney offices, with a range of senior roles including:

  • 2002 — 2012: Chairman Financing Group, Managing Director and Head of Healthcare, Australia and New Zealand
  • 1996 — 2001: Partner, Executive Director Research Sales – New York
  • 1993 —1995: Partner, Executive Director Research Sales – London
  • 1990 —1992: Director, Research Division – Melbourne

Over his accomplished career Ross has advised on numerous landmark transactions in the Australian M&A landscape, and his deep experience in investment banking gives him a reputation for sound commercial judgment and absolute integrity with his clients.

Ross completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and MBA at the University of Cape Town and received a Graduate Diploma in Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand.
Ross is a Board member (8 years) of the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund, the largest VC fund in Australia which specialises in the biotech, medtech, and health services sectors funded by numerous superannuation funds, as well as the Federal and State governments of Australia.

  • Cochlear’s creation of their Technology Innovation Fund and venture investments in Saluda Medical and Earlens

Sean Hogan

Sean is an experienced senior executive with a broad background in investment banking, merchant banking & investing, capital markets and treasury.
Much of this experience was gained at Goldman Sachs in Australia where he spent 10 years and held a number of senior positions, including:

  • Managing Director, Head of the Principal Investment Area (PIA) in Australia and New Zealand
  • Managing Director, Head of Capital Products Group

PIA managed approximately A$1 bn of Goldman Sach’s investable capital. Prior to his time in PIA Sean had extensive experience at Goldman within the Financing Group, co-leading the firm’s efforts in the Capital Products business, which incorporates Goldman Sachs’ Australian debt capital markets, structured financing, leveraged finance and equity linked business. In this capacity Sean lead or was a key advisor on some of Australia’s most prominent financing transactions. During this time he developed a reputation for leadership, innovation, delivery and integrity.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2002, Sean was Head of Structured Finance and Securitisation at SG Australia and previously held positions with Westpac Banking Corporation in Treasury and Institutional Banking.

Sean commenced a career in finance with Citibank in 1992, prior to which he was an officer in the Royal Australian Navy. Sean completed a BA at the University of New South Wales.

Sean is currently the Chairman of Expert360 and a Board member of Standard Media Index.

  • Fairfax acquisition financing of TradeMe via Stapled Preference share issue ($250m)
  • Early stage investor in Expert360, Standard Media Index, Afterpay Holdings, Digital4ge (Reffind & Vamp), and Motorsport Retro.

Warwick Amos

Warwick joined Treadstone Resource Partners in 2014 and has extensive experience in investment banking, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and principal investment transactions.

Prior to joining Treadstone Resource Partners, Warwick worked at Macquarie Capital in the Sydney and Singapore offices and focused primarily on the Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment and Technology sectors.

Warwick has gained experience across a broad range of significant transactions involving a wide range of domestic and international corporate, private equity and institutional clients. Throughout his career, Warwick has advised on significant transactions for leading companies such as Leighton Holdings, Seven Group Holdings, Nine Entertainment Co., Mantra Group and Australia Post.

Warwick holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

  • Advisor to Telecom New Zealand in relation to the sale of AAPT ($450m)
  • Advisor to Seven Group Holdings in relation to the sale of its shareholding in Consolidated Media Holdings to News Corporation ($491 m)
  • Advisor to Nine Entertainment Co. in relation to its IPO on the ASX ($643m)
  • Advisor to oOh!mediain relation to its IPO on the ASX ($169m)
  • Advisor to Mantra Group in relation to its IPO on the ASX ($239m)
  • Early stage investor in AfterpayHoldings.

Adam Bill

Adam joined Treadstone Resource Partners in 2016 and has broad experience in investment banking, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, leverage finance and debt and equity capital markets.

Prior to joining Treadstone Resource Partners, Adam worked at Credit Suisse in the Sydney office and Barclays Capital in both the Sydney and London offices focused on Mining & Metals and Oil & Gas.

Prior to joining Barclays in 2010, Adam was a Tax Analyst at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in the Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions team Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and is a qualified Lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Cameron Horsburgh

Cameron joined Treadstone Resource Partners as an Analyst in 2014. Prior to joining, Cameron spent 6 months in the Global Research and Investment Banking Divisions of Standard Chartered Bank, based in London.

While at Standard Chartered, Cameron was involved in a number of significant transactions.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) / Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Queensland. His Honours thesis studied the response of Australian purchasing power to Chinese economic shocks.
